Kick f*ckin' ass! I was just telling Sam K. at this very venue when he was in town for The Motet show that I needed more Lettuce in my life! Hell, I need more Soulive and Deitch in my life always.
Lettuce, Soulive, and Break Science
Cervantes
5/14 & 5/15/10 (Friday and Saturday, thanks to the band/mgmt for that one!)
$20 in advance
http://www.cervantesmasterpiece.com/show/detail/27483
Hope anyone in Colorado can make it!

Thanks man, I'm pumped for tonight. Do you remember roughly what time the show started (doors open and when nigel went on)? I only ask cause of last years Cervantes show when they opened the doors like 2 hours late. I plan on getting there early regardless but my buddy might take some convincing. Thanks!

| I got there last night around 9:45, Break Science was already playing and Nigel went on after that. I assume Doors are at 8pm but it's going to be a late night again so plan accordingly. Looking forward to it! |

Awesome show once again. Thanks so much to the Royal Family members and crew for coming back to Colorado. The venue was packed last night and everyone was gettin down. An incredible display of talent all the way around. I bumped into ED and Deitch into between sets. They seemed equally impressed and baffled with my homemade Adam Deitch tshirt. Gotta represent.. |

Thanks for posting the setlist. Amazing show. The guys killed it. I thought Nigel's set was perfect and it was awesome to see the boys break out Rudy's Way. I hope they come somewhere other than Cervantes next year though. Just like last year everybody around me was just talking really loud and not paying attention to the show, and one guy threw a drink on me and tried to lure me into a fight during the Lettuce set. But even that didn't sour my night. Hope they come back soon and hopefully I'll catch Chapter 2 in Telluride in August. Do you know if anybody was taping? _________________ http://www.myspace.com/johnnymmusic |

You're welcome and I agree. It was an amazing weekend. I saw one taper on Saturday night, not sure about Friday. Hopefully the Saturday show will turn up on the Archive or something.
The crowd was a weird mix of people. There will always be a few idiots in a group, unfortunately. |

Hell yes! Thank you, Kennedy. You are the man.
I, for one, really appreciate your time and effort that goes into this. You're always posting great Colorado shows for us. I'll be DLing this tonight.
Thanks again and keep up the good work. Ladies and gentlemen, Jeff Kennedy! Your MVP taper of the greater Denver region! |

I grabbed the sets last night, they sound as good as any quality recording I've heard from Cervantes (some of which have been Kennedy's). Currently seeding while others DL.
Thanks again, JK! |
